The Company

GenomeKey is a Bristol-based biotech startup developing a point-of-care in-vitro diagnostic device based on next-generation sequencing and machine learning, that will reduce the time taken to determine how to treat sepsis from days, to only hours. Our device combines whole genome sequencing, novel sample preparation, and machine learning to deliver results at an unprecedented accuracy and speed. Our diagnostic device rapidly identifies the bacteria affecting the patient, and which antibiotics will be effective. This saves lives, saves money, and saves our last antibiotics for when we really need them.

We are looking to hire a range of experienced, self-sufficient candidates to support the development of GenomeKey’s technologies and business processes as they rapidly evolve. You will be joining as an early employee of the company, where your ideas, creativity and scientific excellence will play a significant role in the long term trajectory of the company.

GenomeKey welcomes individuals with a broad range of expertise and experiences, diverse careers and backgrounds. As an equal opportunity company, we endeavor to anonymise applications and strip them of any protected information prior to review.
